Donate to Perrysburg Rowing
Perrysburg Rowing is a self-funded team. We rely on sponsorships and donations to help us keep the team on the water. The funds raised during the Row-a-Thon from the two previous years were used to support the whole team. With your support of generous sponsors and donors, we were able to purchase the following pieces of equipment: 4+ boat for our Junior Varsity team, a 4x boat for our varsity teams, 8+ practice boat to support the Novice and Junior High Rowers, and a set of 8 new oars. Additionally, we refurbished a launch trailer and made many equipment updates. Since the team purchases its own equipment, your support is essential to helping us acquire the items necessary for our team to practice and compete. By having updated equipment in good working order, the team is able to be both safe and competitive. Besides equipment purchases, we have added essential coaching staff to better support our rowers.
The goal of this year’s Row-a-Thon is to raise $15,000. The team will be traveling to the Head of Hooch Regatta in Chattanooga, Tennessee in November. This regatta is the second largest regatta in the country. Due to the distance and cost of travel, the team only attends once every four years. We plan to use some of the funds to help cover the costs associated with the regatta. Additionally, we plan to use the money for any equipment repairs or replacements that are needed during the 2024–2025 school year.
Perrysburg Rowing is a 501(c)(3) organization which means your donation is tax deductible. Your gift to our program will allow us to continue to share rowing with the Perrysburg students and community, hire coaching staff, and provide equipment and experiences for the rowers.
